What this site collects, and why
The short version: I only get what you send me and basic visit counts, I never sell any of it, and you can ask me to delete your details any time.

Who runs this site
I'm Amr Magdy, an independent Salesforce CRM Consultant working from Cairo, Egypt, as Amr Magdy CRM Consulting. I decide what happens to the details collected here. Questions about them go to info@AmrMagdy.com.
What I collect and why
- Forms. When you ask for an audit or a move to Salesforce, send a question or join the newsletter, I get what you type: your name and email, and where the form asks for them, your company, phone, CRM and message. Web3Forms delivers it to my inbox. I use it to reply, to send what you asked for and, if you joined the newsletter, to send the newsletter.
- Calls. When you book a call, Calendly takes your booking details on its own site and shares them with me so we can meet.
- Email, WhatsApp and LinkedIn. If you message me there, I get what you send. Those services have their own privacy rules.
- Visit counts. Google Analytics shows me which pages get read, which buttons and forms get used, your rough location (city or country), your device and browser, and the site that sent you. It doesn't tell me who you are. Form sends and booking clicks are counted there as leads, without names or emails.
Cookies
The only cookies on this site are Google Analytics cookies, _ga and _ga_66PK4JKWSF. They hold a random ID so a return visit isn't counted as a new visitor, and they last up to two years.
If you visit from the UK, the EU, the EEA or Switzerland, they stay off unless you choose Accept, and you can change your mind any time with Cookie choices at the bottom of each page. Before you choose, and if you choose No thanks, Google Analytics still gets a basic count of the visit, with no cookie and no ID.
Wherever you are, you can switch them off, or back on, here.
The site also saves two small settings in your browser: your cookie choice and light or dark mode. They stay on your device. To block Google Analytics on every site, use your browser's tracking protection or Google's opt-out add-on.
Who else handles it
A few services do part of the work, each under its own privacy policy:
- GitHub Pages hosts this site and keeps server logs, including IP addresses, for security.
- Web3Forms delivers form messages, and Zoho Mail holds my inbox.
- Calendly runs call bookings.
- Google runs Google Analytics. The fonts are served from this site, not by Google.
These services are based in the US and elsewhere, and I work from Egypt, so your details may be handled outside your country.
I don't sell or rent your details, I don't share them with advertisers, and this site has no ads.
How long I keep it
- Messages and bookings: while we're talking or working together. Ask me and I'll delete them, unless the law says I have to keep them, like invoices for tax.
- The newsletter list: until you leave it.
- Google Analytics: visit-level data is deleted automatically after 14 months at most. Totals in reports stay.
Your choices
Email info@AmrMagdy.com to see the details I hold about you, fix them, delete them or ask me to stop using them. To leave the newsletter, reply to any issue or email me. I reply within one working day and act within 30 days.
If you're in the UK, the EU or the EEA: I reply to messages and bookings because you asked me to, and I use analytics cookies and send the newsletter only with your consent, which you can take back any time. You can complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO), though I'd like the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If I change this page, the date at the top changes too.
